IntPfrCC: Causatives are expressed through the use of a nonfinite verb form, special verbal mood, and either a verbal case affix or a special particle in the clause expressing the caused event. This type is known as an intentional causative construction.

’Masha makes Andrey eat the porridge.’ (L. P.)

’Nastya dries the washed clothes outside.’ (L. P.)

In Komi-Permyak, the causative form of transitive verbs (1) is expressed by a periphrastic construction made up of the main verb čöktyny ’order’ and a non-finite verb form expressing the lexical content of causation. The causative form of intransitives is expressed with the help of the -t causative suffix (2), a morphological causative form (cf. Bradley et al. 2022).
