NoAMark & Neutr

NoAMark: The function A is not explicitly marked, while S, P, or both are marked. A is therefore marked with a zero (∅) morpheme.

Neutr: Case alignment is neutral: the functions S, A, and P are not marked morphologically.

In Komi-Permyak, pronouns are unmarked both in the S function of intransitive verbs (1) and the A function of transitive verbs (2) (Bartens 2000: 329, Lobanova 2017: 32–35). Personal and demonstrative pronouns in the P function are marked accusative (3). Inanimate nouns with the P function are also unmarked (2), while animate ones are marked with the accusative case suffix (4).
