In Komi-Permyak reason clauses can be expressed using non-finite verb forms in case the subjects of the clauses are the same (1). A subordinate clause introduced by a complementiser can be used irrespective of whether the subjects are the same or different (2)–(3). In these sentences the reason clause does not appear in a special form (L. P.)
