(Komi-Permyak)

PT–R + NoVAgr

PT–R: The objects of monotransitive and ditransitive verbs are marked the same way; the recipient is marked differently.

NoVAgr: The verb does not display agreement with P, T, or R.

(1)öndibośt-ösijö.
Andreybuyprs.3sgit.acc
’Andrey buys it.’ (V. E.)

(2)öndiśet-ösijösylö.
Andreygiveprs.3sgit.acc(s)he.dat
’Andrey gives it to him/her.’ (V. E.)

In Komi-Permyak, the pronominal P arguments of monotransitive verbs (1) and the pronominal T arguments of ditransitive verbs (2) are encoded the same way, in an accusative form. The encoding of pronominal R arguments (2) differs from this, they always take dative case (cf. Bartens 2000: 92–93, 331–335, Klumpp 2012, Ponomareva 2010: 91–95). The verb does not agree with any of these three functions.
