Komi-Permyak uses a number of different strategies in its purposive constructions. The most common way is using an infinitive, in which case the purpose complement usually follows (1), but it can also precede (2) the main event. In other types of non-finite subordination (3) the purpose complement typically precedes the main event, but it can follow it as well (4) (L. P., V. E., Lobanova 2018).
