In Komi-Permyak subordinate clauses the subordinating conjunction is in clause-initial position when present (1) (L. P., V. E.). In certain subordinate clauses functioning as the object there can be no conjunction (2), in others (3)–(4) both što ‘that’, and myj ‘that’ are optional (cf. Ponomareva 2010: 96, Lobanova 2018: 18–31, L. P., V. E.).
