Komi-Permyak verbs agree with their subject in person and number (1)–(2), and are marked for tense (3), evidentiality, polarity and mood (cf. Cypanov 2005). Predicative adjectives agree with the subject only in number (4), (5), and they cannot express tense. A copula is needed for this purpose (6) (Rédei 1978: 64, Bartens 2000: 130–132).
