In Komi-Permyak, both pronominal (1)–(2) and nominal (3) agents are unmarked, but the verb agrees with them (cf. Bartens 2000: 329, Lobanova 2017: 32–35). Patients that are inanimate (and indefinite) are unmarked (1), whereas animate ones are typically marked (2)–(3). The verb does not agree with the patient (cf. Bartens 2000: 332).
