In Komi-Permyak, synthetic present (1) and future forms (2) differ only in third person (Bartens 2000: 179–181). Apart from this, future time can be expressed by a construction combining an inflected future form of the verb pondyny ’begin’ with the infinitive of the main verb (3)–(4) (Ponomareva 2002: 132–134, 2010: 266–267, Lobanova 2017: 37).
