In Meadow Mari affirmative imperative mood is expressed by the connegative stem of the verb in second person singular. In second person plural the suffix -za/-sa is added to it (Riese et al. 2022: 233─234). In certain dialects (such as the Volga dialect) the marker of the second person plural imperative form coincides with the second person plural indicative mood marker (Lavrentyev 1966: 309).
