In Meadow Mari, the object of monotransitive (1) and intransitive verbs (2) has the same -m suffix, the marker of accusative case, irrespective of whether it is nominal or pronominal. Recipient arguments have a different form, they are marked dative with the -lan suffix. The verb does not agree with any of these three functions.
