In Udmurt reciprocity is expressed with the reciprocal pronouns og-ogmy_odig-ogmy_odigmy-ogmy (1PL), oog–ogmy_odig–ogmy_odigmy–ogmy (1PL), og–ogdy_odig–ogdy_odigdy–ogdy (2PL), og-ogzy_odig-ogzy_odigzy-ogzy (3PL) (1) (cf. Keľmakov – Hännikäinen 2008: 210, Tarakanov 2011: 114–117). The pronoun has several forms, all of which derive from odig ‘one’ or og-, a shortened form of it, combining with a first, second, or third person plural Px. These pronouns can be case marked according to their role in the sentence: the case suffixes are often added to the second member of the pronoun (2), but they may be after the first member as well (3) (Tarakanov 2011: 114–117). The verb of the sentence containing the reciprocal pronoun may be associated with more than one NPs (4). These pronouns can only be used to express reciprocity, and not for e.g. reflexive meanings: this latter is expressed using the reflexive pronouns aćim (1SG), aćid (2SG), aćiz (3SG), aśmeos (1PL), aśteos (2PL), aśseos (3PL) and their affixed forms (5).
