In Udmurt attributive adjectives precede the noun (1) (Karpova 2015: 88). Some exceptions are also attested: in the spoken forms of northern Udmurt dialects attributive adjectives can also follow the noun; according to Karpova these are exceptions, though not too rare, and appear in the presence of definite subjects (Karpova 2015: 88) (2).
