In Udmurt adjectives used as nouns usually take the determinative suffix -(j)ez (1) (Csúcs 1990: 43, Efremov 2011: 67), but can be used in their bare forms as well occasionally (2) (Perevoshchikov et al. 1962: 136, Y. S.).
