In Udmurt attributive adjectives optionally agree with the noun in number (2) (Winkler 2001: 40). Adjectives with a determinative suffix agree with the noun in number and case (3) (Csúcs 1990: 43, Kozmács 2001: 33, Winkler 2001: 40). The possessive marker on nouns, however, does not appear on adjectives with determinative suffixes (4).
