In Udmurt, the base form of demonstrative pronouns has nine cases. However, demonstrative pronouns can take the determinative suffix -iz (in the plural -yz), in which case they have fifteen different case forms, similarly to nouns (Tarakanov 2011a: 127–128). In determining the value of the parameter we only considered the cases of the base form, since we assume that it is the determinative suffix that makes the other case forms possible.
